The Mind Shop and Philosophers' Den is the bookstore of the Positive Living Center and is located in Room 101 of the Center. Open to members and the general public, it is run by friendly volunteer staff who will assist you in finding the book or gift item of your choice.

The ambience is very restful and quiet, so it is also a philosophers' den in which you may choose to sit, relax and eat your lunch at one of our tables while you peruse the books and listen to beautiful music. Cold water is available to quench your thirst as well.

You'll find spiritually enriching books and tapes from many great writers. Choose from Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Emmet Fox, Joel Goldsmith, Ernest Holmes, Don Miguel Ruiz, Eckhart Tolle, Stuart Wilde, Marianne Williamson and other great writers!  What you don't find among our many volumes can be ordered for arrival usually within a week.

And that's just a start. We have a small section of used books at delightful discounts as well as many gift items. These treasures range from music CD's, incense, candles, and various types of inspirational cards, to beautiful artwork, figurines and jewelry, to name a few.

Lending Library

The PLC Lending Library is open whenever the PLC an/or bookstore are open and serves the public as well as the Center's spiritual family. It is located in the back of Room 103, adjacent to the Bookstore.

The library's collection of books numbers in the hundreds and includes many classic books on spirituality, self-development and various other topics. As donations come in from private libraries, our collection continues to grow and now includes audio and video tapes as well.

Our lending policy is 30 days and is on the honor system. Other than writing down the titles and your name and date in a check out book, you are on your honor!

Come in soon and sample the wide range of books from which you can choose as many as you can read in 30 days!
