Guidelines

All individuals, centers or organizations who wish to become affiliated with the Emerson New Thought Center (ENTC) must meet the following guidelines:

The activities being performed by the affiliate must further the mission and goals of ENTC.

The affiliate can have no other appropriate opportunity to work within the structure of an existing New Thought church or center.

The affiliate must have completed all requirements, through a recognized school or center, for the specific position for which affiliation is being requested. These positions are minister, intern minister, practitioner or intern practitioner.

The affiliate must sign and abide by the appropriate ENTC code of ethics.

If using ENTC’s nonprofit, 501(c)3 status for receiving donations or other tax purposes, a center or individual must provide:

  1. Monthly report showing income and detailed expenditures

  2. Monthly report listing all donations received, including check numbers, name of donor, amount of donation and bank identification number

  3. List of any ministers, practitioners or teachers working under the affiliate’s supervision.

The affiliate must fill out and submit ENTC’s semi-annual report of  the affiliate's activities performed as part of the affiliation with ENTC.

In addition, the affiliate must follow other guidelines that may be requested from time-to-time by ENTC’s senior ministers.
