PLC Photo Gallery Potluck
The Sunday before Thanksgiving, we had a special celebration of thanks and gratitude at our service. Immediately following that we had a wonderful potluck featuring roasted turkey, all the trimmings and lots of other goodies.
Two very special people, Hank and Taimi Stavast, enjoy the celebration.

And what would it be without music! Immediately following the potluck, tables were taken down and music and dancing began. Here Lisa Kerns accompanied by a friend, and Barney Berrier sing for us. Barney's son, Charlie, is the vocal coach! Meditation Retreat - 2004
A yearly weekend meditation retreat is held each March
in the Sierra foothills.. These smiling and relaxed meditators attended
the March 2004 weekend. Practitioner JoAnne Burgess (second from right in
the first row) led the retreat.
During one of the retreat breaks, Stephen DeRuby treated
the other participants to music on his Native American flute in this
inspirational mountain setting.
On Easter Sunday 2004, some of the women showed up with "Easter Bonnets" -- some even with fresh flowers on them. Here some of them mug for the camera with Henry Stavast, who regularly ushers for our services.
Following services on Sunday, we gather to greet each other with a hug, chat a while, have a cup of coffee and eat the delicious desserts in our community room.
It was hug-a-teddy-bear Sunday at the PLC in late December. The Youth Group asked members to donate teddy bears and other stuffed animals to give to children that were ill. During services, we each held a teddy bear and infused it with lots of love and positive energy. The Youth Group distributed them to the children |
